Home access
Updated 31 October 2026
For each client, Pack can keep how you get in: whether you hold a key, use a lockbox or keypad, someone is home, or no key is needed, with any codes and notes. Only you see it.
Add or change it
- Go to Clients and open the client.
- Beside Home access, press Add or Edit.
- Choose How you get in. For a lockbox or keypad, a box for its code appears. You can add an alarm code and access notes too.
- Press Save access.
How the codes are kept
Lockbox, keypad and alarm codes are stored sealed: even a copy of Pack's database doesn't show them. The client's card says Codes kept sealed rather than the code, and the code shows in the sheet only when you press the eye beside it.
If you change how you get in, a code for the old way is dropped when you save. A lockbox code isn't kept once the client is on a keypad.
The Clients list in Export your data includes how you get in and your access notes, but never a code.
